double edged sword.

i've always been equally inspired by art and fashion and find myself sitting in museums staring at the  Renoirs/Toulouse Lautrecs/Cassatts/Manets and coming up with outfits from my closet in my head that somewhat mirror those in the paintings... however, i've never thought to actually put pictures side by side like this. 

i absolutely LOVE how Miss Moss illustrates the equal power of fashion & art and how we can draw such inspiration from both.

alison scarpulla is amazing. i love the complexity of her images..the feeling that something is a little off but you don't know what it is because they are so uniquely and perfectly put together, that at the end..all you see is beauty.
